Fifty-two percent of women responded that they believe men need to improve their skill at kissing - the same percentage that would stop dating a man if she thought he was a bad kisser.
These responses are based on women's experiences. What one woman judges to be a good kiss may be quite different from what another woman may think. Don't presume you know what she wants - be aware and conscious of her response and adjust accordingly.
This is where the "listening" with your mouth and body comes in - be in tune with her body language. If she's pulling away or stopping the kiss short - something is not working for her. If you're interested in her and want to move the relationship forward, pick up on her cues or you may find yourself out in the cold. If she seems uninterested, don't be afraid to ask her how she would like to be kissed - it may be the best question you ever asked!
Some responses from an online survey get the message across:
- They need to learn to adapt to each woman.
- Some do, some don't.
- Some guys got it, some guys learn.
- We need a foundation for this, I think. Too many men are missing out or maybe not making their woman (and themselves) happy.
- I think they need to be more conscientious about how women like to be kissed. They tend to kiss how they like to kiss or be kissed.
- I'd have to say half the men I kissed didn't kiss very well.Are you listening to what she wants in a kiss?
Peg Sausville created an online survey for women about what they want in kissing. Over 300 women responded to the survey and from those responses she wrote the book, "The Truth About How to Kiss Women." These women provided insider information on what they really want and are looking for in the kissing experience. Their responses were unfiltered and candid.
